Japanese salad turnips
1 bunch of Fuku Komachi salad turnips. These are young, sweet and crunchy. Excellent raw, we loveeee these shaved raw in salads, or roasted. Their greens are also incredible sauteed, steamed/wilted or stir-fried.
We pushed this batch of turnips to grow in colder conditions which resulted in an excellent flavor but a slightly ribbed exterior from the stress of the cold. We knocked off $.50 for appearance but the quality of flavor and texture is just supreme!
