Kolibri Kohlrabi
1 kohlrabi. These kohlrabi are excellent eaten, skin and all. You can eat the whole bulb, including the skin. Kohlrabi is mild, crunchy and juicy with a slight sweetness. It’s flavor is reminiscent of broccoli or even cucumber.
Eat kohlrabi fresh or cooked. Rich and I rarely cook it as we end up grating it or slicing it thinly and eating it with a sprinkle of salt and vinegar or shredded and eaten as a sald or in a salad/slaw.
If desiring to eat it cooked, steam it, saute it, boil it, roast it, stir fry it, make it into fritters :)
