Shishito Peppers

$3.50
sold out

the ones popping up on menus everywhere and for good reason. Cook them whole…stems and all over high heat (broil, grill, or saute/stir fry). Cook for a few minutes in oil of your choice until the skin is starting to blister. Sprinkle with sea salt and eat off of the stem in a bite or two. Serve with aioli or a dipping sauce. BEST and easiest summer snack.

*A mild pepper…but every 10th pepper or so you catch the tiniest kiss of heat. Not enough to go running for milk…just a kiss.
