Foxhole Pumpkin Pie
Remember the mini pies I made for market season? This is a full-sized 9-inch version of that pie. I make a brown butter pie crust. My pumpkin filling is a custard filling made from our roasted and pureed honeynuts, cream, eggs and a my favorite fall spices.
Best served with a jar of our vanilla bean whipped cream. Pie is best refrigerated until the day you enjoy it. Leave it in the fridge until serving or allow to come to room temperature.
